We all eat together. Kids get served first so theirs can cool down a bit, but we all sit down and eat together.

We eat together and I usually leave dinner in the middle of the table and we serve it up family style and all help ourselves and sit together 😊

We usually have dinner once our daughter has gone to bed, she eats earlier than us. Unless we're out and about.
But it's always me that eats first. Or we eat together. My husband does all of the cooking, and if I do cook, I serve us both together.
I never understand these posts, dont most people just plate up all meals together.

All together. Kids get served first to cool & then my lovely partner & myself get/eat our food at the same time

Kids

At the moment I or my partner will feed baby at around 6pm whilst the other one of us cooks dinner, then we sit and have our dinner and baby sits with us at the table. I’m not doing BLW so she has her meal first but this will change as she gets older and then we’ll all eat together but at the moment 6pm is too early for us to eat anyway and by the time my partner finishes work, sits down to relax for a bit and starts cooking we don’t normally end up eating until about 7/7:30pm

We all eat together.

I put dad but I thought cus it said after babies, it’s babies, dad then mom or mom snacks+ eats dinner when not overstimulated when kids go to bed 🤧

I accidentally voted!! Was trying to comment 😂
We eat together. When I’m finished with supper I usually fix everyone’s plates at the same time starting with the youngest so his will be cool. My 4yr old gets handed his first while my 11yr old grabs his own plate & drink, then my husband either grabs his plate or I bring it to him, depending on how we feel like doing it lol then I’ll get mine & we put on a family movie. Everytime the boys put their plate up their back off doing their own thing 😂

I always feed my daughter first before me. And when she’s older I’ll serve her food, my fiancés food and then mine

I serve kids first, (if plausible) then grandparents/guests, then my husband, then me.. kids first, cook last, that's my rule of thumb.. we all eat together, but that's the order I serve
ik some family's plate at the stove and kids take off and never really to table 🤷♀️ in my family befoee I was on my own we had everything at table ans self severed and once my son can feed him self it be like that for us cuase thats how I grew up and typically the oldest person got food 1st if grandparents was over
I feel like if the parent to the kids who did all the cooking should eat 1st if the other severed

The kids cant fed for themselves partner can

We eat together. I set some aside for my toddler, then serve up mine and hubby's and bring his and toddler'sto the table first but then he gets us drinks and I bring over my stuff and we all basically eat at the same time. If we have guests theyre first with my toddler and hubby and I are slower to sit (but we still eat together)
@Moira I like when the person who cooked gets served before the other parent as the other one severs the food up to everyone

I do

Kids get served first but we all eat at the table together

We all eat together

Plate up for kids first to cool down, then I get mine as my partner usually isn’t home from work for dinner so he’ll have his after

I never understand this question, we all eat together. Why would I dish up one plate when I can dish up for all three of us and we all sit down and eat at the same time?

My kids always eat first usually dad eats while they eat so when they are done I can clean them up and once dads done eating I’ll sit down and have my meal
@Lisa its more of who gets severed 1st like having the plates ready for 1st while sitting down to eat together
