So sorry you’re going through this as it can be so scary and unknown. I had it with both my babies (now 16 weeks and 2 1/2) they were delivered at 37 and 38 weeks by c section in the end.

I went on BP meds early on and had weekly monitoring/scans/blood-tests and when I got into the final months I was having check ups a couple of times a week to test my vitals and the baby’s.

Don’t be afraid to ask loads of questions, my second had different complication’s to my first and asking loads of questions totally put my mind at ease and helped me build trust with the team. Also I got a BP machine at home helped me monitor any changes and eased my mind. I hope you and baby are doing ok xx

I had it too. Terrifying, traumatic and I’ve developed severed PPA and control issues due to feeling out of control. You know the risks so in my mind now I tell myself to be positive and prepared should there be another pregnancy.

Get a medical team that you truly truly trust to make the best decisions for your and baby’s health and safety. I wish I had a doula- someone that walks you through the pregnancy will always advocate for you when you’re unable to.

There’s a woman on YouTube that really helps with mindset; Bridget Teyler. Like all these other great resources, I only came across her afterwards.

Has my first at 28 weeks (he’s 2.5 now). Second came at 40 weeks exactly(she’s 1). I’m pregnant again but super early right now. The doctors monitored me a lot better last time.
