My daughters behaviour is currently off the scale, hitting, tantruming, leg stomping, running away, being unkind! I’ve been on the phone in tears to the nursery and even cried at drop off, I’m at a loss with what to do! I’m thinking of introducing a reward chart, we do time out because tbh we both need time out from each other and when she hits me I need to move her away from me and her brother! I want to try and introduce more positive reinforcements however her ‘bad’ behaviour is relentless! I don’t give her more then once chance if she decides to run away from me in a supermarket she then loses the chance to walk and help me so instead she has to hold my hand the whole way round the shop.
Is anyone using reward charts? How do they work? I try and do the whole explaining thing but after the first word shes lost interest in one ear out the other so im not going to start monologues with her, i need something that’s going to catch her interest! She’s a busy bubbly wild girl with a heart of gold but just sooooo difficult at times 🩷🩷
Help a mother out :)

I’m currently designing one lol I’ll message you xx

please do 🤣🩷

We use one! I found a template on the Canva app (you can use the free version, or get a free trial to get the pro content - once you’ve downloaded it you can reprint when you need a new one).
She can get rewards for 3 things - no accidents, kindness and getting herself dressed as these were things she was struggling with. We usually do it at bedtime, and throughout the day give her reminders eg if struggling to be kind remind her of the kindness sticker. She gets a mini chocolate if she completes a row, then can choose a bigger reward for completing the whole chart (currently working towards a pirate outfit!)
