Snooze shades

What are people’s views on snooze shades?

We’re going away in October (first time abroad with our toddler) He will be 21 months when we go and wondered if they are worth it

We found it good for signalling to people not to look at / interact with the baby if they were napping, and for getting them out of the harshest of the sun if we were walking somewhere. Once it’s on the pram it also feels less fiddly than an umbrella etc as you don’t have to constantly move it x

I took one away recently for the first time with my 23 month old and it didn’t work. She hated that she couldn’t see, but she never sleeps when in the pram. I think had I of used it from a much younger age it might have worked but I think she was too old to start introducing it then

Best thing we bought. Never failed to get our son to sleep in the pram. Used it on days out and holidays.
Can usually pick them up 2nd hand also.

my little one will sleep anywhere and everywhere 😅

see to me he’s old enough for suncream, hat and mini fan and in the shade when sleeping.. it’s so hard on what’s best to do x

I prefer it to a parasol, feels much simpler and less likely to hit on everything like I did the parasol.. I am hoping the upf is as good as it says

We love ours. Don’t really use it in the daytime but swear by it for night time when our little one goes down in the pushchair x

Great for my daughter when she was younger (like below 1) but when we went on holiday at 20 months she hated having it on (caused tantrums) and napped fine without it.

The snoozeshade is up there in my recommendations for mums with a babies and younger toddlers ⬆️ We bought ours to start with as the hood of the pram didn’t offer much coverage & we ended up fighting the parasol/it wasn’t sufficient. My little one is very busy/interactive/inquisitive so it just helps all round, but as above, sometimes he does fight it off now he’s a bit older (17 months)

can I ask why for the evening and not the day time? X

Loved our Snoozeshade but used it more when LO having 2 naps a day, upto 14m. After that we used to take him back to the room for 2 hr nap and hubby stay in whilst I chilled round the pool. If we had LO in pushchair we used a universal stroller umbrella and shaded him that way. My boy can sleep anywhere doesn't need to be dark but def felt the benefit of Snoozeshade the younger he was

We have one for the pack and play and for the stroller. We used them for our trips when he was 7 months and 10 months but not since then. We will be using the pack and play one this weekend because we are room sharing on a trip and it is easier to move around the room when he goes to bed.

We might use the stroller one when we are at the beach to help provide some shade

We have an almost 21 mo old

We just don’t feel we need to use it in the day, have always made sure she is well shaded and our pushchair has a big hood which usually covers her ☺️ we would use it in the day if we felt we needed it or couldn’t shade her x

I wouldn’t have gone away without it. Number 1 recommended item!

Also got mine off Vinted for £6 so an absolute no brainer
