Dropping oz's?
Hi
Has anyone else's baby (6months next week) dropped oz's and refusing milk?
We have started purees over the last few weeks (a bit here and there) and now baby is leaving bits of his bottles, which he usually drank all of. He was taking 6oz bottles x6 times a day but now only takes between 4 and 5oz's per bottle..

Yes!! My LO has done this too but we’ve not started weaning- he went down from 7oz to about 4-5oz but he’ll have the occasional 7oz bottle x
Mine was having 5-6 6oz bottles and then suddenly dropped to 4-5oz and then has now jumped to having 4 7oz bottles.
Think it was probably a growth spurt!
When they’re not going through an active growth spurt they do drop oz.
Don’t worry. I stressed about my almost 2 year old constantly for the first year but you’ll see it their entire childhood not just with milk.. they go through hungrier phases and less hungry phases based on when they’re growing.
Yes my girl has done this but she’s also teething pretty bad too (already got first 2 bottom teeth, but got more incoming). I just keep offering - she has 2 “meals” a day xx
@Caitlyn yes he has been teething for about 3 months but no teeth as yet. Can see them below the gums but haven't broke through yet
probably the main culprit xx
