Is the name Sofia/Sophia too popular?
I love the name and have for years but it’s always in the top 10 and I’m wondering if anyone has a daughter with the name and feels like it is too popular/ everyone is calling it on the playground

I mean…if you like it, why not? My daughter name is Sophia. I love to call her Sofi.
Where are you based? As it may differ between UK and US or elsewhere.
I am in the UK and have invited 15 kids to my daughter's 4th birthday - two of which are called Sophia/Sofia (it's the only repeated name, albeit they are spelled differently).

Based in the US currently but eventually going to move to AUS for schooling
It’s super popular definitely the most popular name in US with both Sophia (6th) and Sofia (10th) in the official top 10 USA 2024. Alternatives: Daphne, Sasha, Saskia, Athena, Rosalia, Soleil, Phoebe, Fiora, Delphi, Stevia, Ophelia
We've just named our daughter Sofia as we both individually had the name picked out since children, I didn't even notice it getting popular but I just love it anyway
