Hello ladies, it’s been some time since I’ve posted. The journey has been arduous yet fulfilling, and I’ve barely made a dent 😆.

Today I want to talk about who/what Jesus is/was and his purpose. The biggest debate against most religious communities is the actual existence of the messengers. Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Osiris, etc.

But why? Why does it matter if they actually existed?

For most it’s the fact that if they did not exist, then the teachings, the lessons, and the morals that they preached and taught were predicated on a lie. And no one wants to be lied to. Yet most all of us do it. Do some of us not tell our children that Santa Claus exists to teach them about receiving gifts for good behavior?

I’d like to think of it this way, no I do not know if Jesus was an actual person, but it’s the lessons that were important. And moreover the examples he set. He did not just preach the good word, he was the word.

He gives us a guide to know what true judgment is. It’s a judgment of ourselves. Perfection does not exist, but always reaching to be good and do right is the ultimate testament.

Will you stumble, absolutely. Will you fall, most definitely. Will there be moments where you feel like you just absolutely cannot move on or keep going, undoubtedly.

So what’s the point? To accept it! To know that those moments are just that, moments in time. Some moments last longer than others, some are more painful than others, but none of them last forever. And it’s our resolve and resilience to make it to the next moment that is our own personal testament.

That’s what Jesus represents, not all that he encompassed, but a small piece of his legacy, real or not.

So if you’re in one of those moments, the first step is to accept it. Why is it happening to you? You may not ever get that answer, but it is happening to you. Begin to think about ways to move through it. Not get over it, not go around it, not run from it, but to get through it, learn the lesson and grow from it.

Make everyday better than yesterday, and know the journey IS the destination.

Peace and Blessings Anima.

I'm boggled.

boggled? How do you mean?

Question: you don’t know if Jesus existed at all?

no I don’t know, but I do believe. Knowing means proof and sometimes even 1st hand experience. I was not there, and cannot prove it (myself), so I never say I know he existed, I say I believe he existed.

that’s totally fair. I guess I should be more clear. You don’t know if he historically existed or you don’t know if he died and rose again?

You don’t know me, so I just want to state that I’m not judging or criticizing. Just curious.

I’m one of the few people that you’ll come across that’s actually ok with judgment or criticism, as long as it’s done fairly and constructive ☺️.

For me personally, I rarely use the verbiage “I know”. Knowing is without a doubt, with proof, and with (sometimes) first hand witness. Did he historically existed, I don’t know, but I believe he did. Did he die and rise again, I don’t know, but I believe something happened that caused multiple witnesses to purport some type of occurrence.

My own synopsis, his dying and rising was metaphorical. Words they used 1000’s of years ago have different meanings than they do today, also the transliteration from the original text is subjective.

There’s a lot that I believe, but so much I don’t know. I hope that helps a bit.
