Is 5-6 ounces of formula every 2-3 hours too much for a 6 week old? I feel like this is a lot but he cries for more if I give him any less

You can't really overfeed a baby! They'll take in what they need and anything extra will literally just come back up so I wouldn't worry about it ☺️ if you're concerned though chat to your midwives/health visitor, some babies are extra hungry so are put on hungry baby formula ☺️

6 weeks they go through a massive growth spurt and cluster feed. He'll puke if you over feed him so dont stress about it otherwise!

If he’s eaten been burped and is still crying for more absolutely give him the extra, they are growing and know what they need, also in this heat it will help in keeping them hydrated x

My 4 month old was on 6oz every 3 hours by 5/6 weeks x
