Vest or no vest?

My LB is currently only in a nappy.. just going to keep checking through the night and reassess if he needs a vest on. But hes sound asleep rn so think its alright?

Just a nappy for mine if it goes over 27. Windows open fan facing away from baby.

Just a nappy!

Our room is 28 and my LO is in a nappy and a light cotton shorts style romper with strappy sleeves. We’ve got a cooler fan going and a tower fan oscillating around the room. Last time it got really warm we tried her in just a nappy and she kept waking up but if your LO is sleeping fine they should be ok!

Ah ok, reassuring that I’m not the only one going with nappy only! Good old TikTok.. I was reading comments under a video and literally everyone was saying that a vest is better, but if babies happy in just a nappy then going to stick with it ☺️

I’ve never heard of that to be honest! It’s 25.5 degrees in our room and our son is just in a vest. We also have 2 fans and I gave him a bigger feed before bed. He sleeps through the night but I will wake every 2 hours to check he’s not too hot.

I put my little one in a vest last night and room was 27/28. Only coz I could felt a chill against my skin myself so I was guessing she would feel it too. Ended up putting her 0.5 tog sleep sack on at her 1.30am feed

Our room was 27° last night and we put LO in just her nappy and she was fine like that until 4am when she woke and felt a bit chilly so put her in a short sleeve vest and 0.5 tog bag with the bottom undone, her N2M is right by the window so gets a good breeze when there is one

If they are happy then leave them without it, better for them to be cold than hot, you can add layers if she gets cold in the night
