My 3rd baby is 3 months old and I’m struggling with PPD and it’s affecting my marriage at this point. I’m in an IOP and was doing better but this week I feel like I’m back at square 1. My husband has started to distance himself and I feel so alone. He works everyday so I’m with the kids alone the majority of the time. My older 2 fight constantly and my baby was hospitalized for 3 weeks when he was born and still dealing with medical issues. It’s A LOT! I’m irritable and just so sad, constantly crying. I have no friends. I’m just emotionally drained at this point. Sometimes I really wonder if my family would be better off without me. I would never actually do anything to myself but the thought crosses my mind…..I feel like my PPD is destroying my family…..

You are not alone — and your pain is real. PPD can feel absolutely crushing, especially when you’re carrying so much by yourself. I just want to say: you are not failing. You are doing the impossible every single day. And your family is not better off without you — they need you exactly as you are, even in this hard moment.
It’s so brave that you’re in IOP and still showing up for your kids. That says more about your strength than anything else ever could. It’s okay to need help. It’s okay to feel broken. But please know that this isn’t the end of your story — it’s just a really hard chapter. And it will pass.
Keep going. You matter. I see you. ❤️
