My baby has just started clicking on his bottles. He’s 5 months old and he wasn’t doing this a couple of weeks ago and now he does it constantly. I tried upping the teat size and it hasn’t done much. It differs with each bottle on how much he does it. He did have a tongue tie that was cut when he was newborn born and has always had bottle feeding issues but after I changed him on to Philips Avent bottles the issues got better. But now I don’t know if the teats are too slow for him? It makes me so frustrated!

Check if your LO has tongue tie? Or perhaps try tilting the bottle up towards her pallet?

That would mean the tongue tie has reatched for the 2nd time. I really wish I never got it cut now because I know they can naturally stretch over time and I feel like it has just caused more issues. It doesn’t seem to bother him when eating but I’m going to guess this is behind a lot of his reflux issues. So I might speak to the hv and see what they recommend

yeah speak to your health visitor I hope you get it resolved soon, good luck x
