Anyone else in the same boat with toddler tantrums/ toddler screaming at the top of their lungs. Recently my daughter’s behaviour has been absolutely crazy! And when I mean crazy I mean out of this world, bear in mind I do have a lot of patience so you can imagine how bad it does get. I used to be the one giving out advice about how to tackle tantrums and bad behaviour and now I feel I’m in an awful situation myself. I am aware of strategies of how to redirect toddler, how to play gently, and be gentle with others etc, and she is, however her behaviour recently has had me in tears most nights, every night it seems to be a battle to get her to sleep.
I dread to think what the neighbours think and she screams murder from the top of her lungs, then I find myself losing my cool and shouting, which I do apologise for and I hate shouting at her, because I never wanted to be that parent, but sometimes I feel that’s the only time she listens, but recently no matter what she’s just doing the opposite of everything. I’m 20 weeks pregnant too so just really feeling the guilt at the moment. I could walk away for 5 minutes but she’d still be screaming at the top of her lungs. She is very headstrong but my word it has been so difficult recently, she has just turned 2.

Mine turned 2 in April and the past weeks just been bad enough. They do it because they can’t voice their feelings/emotions and the only way they can is by screaming or having a tantrum. It is a lot anscI have an 2nd baby too which I tent to a lot more then her. I’m not spending a lot of the time with and I feel bad but yeah, I hear ya. She knows your pregnancy so, probably that as well.
