I’d say contact the GP and let her doctor know!! My daughter has just been prescribed Eumovate but unsure whether to use it on her. She does itch a lot due to the eczema but nervous about applying these steroid creams. How was your experience in the beginning with the Eumovate cream?

Don’t use steroids on a baby please please please!

Stop all steroids now. They only mask the problem.

completely cleared her skin, all went away. Came back like this SO quick! This was worse than she ever was. It was like she shed a layer of skin. But it’s gone now and back to ‘normal’ eczema but refusing to use steroid cream again

It likely has come back because the steroids aren’t being effective. Her body is addicted to them and going into withdrawal. How long did you use the steroids for? Did the doctor start her on a lower potency?

yes she was in hydrocortisone for 1 week, then off for a few weeks, then on again for 1 week as it came back, then off again and it came back again so doctors upped the strength to eumovate for 2 weeks (but the second week was tapering off slower) and here we are!

Yep sadly sounds like steroid addiction and now withdrawal. Itsan is a great group on Facebook and so is Erasing Eczema.
