I have not been giving my 1 year old whole milk because each time she gets constipated it’s bad for her she can’t poop and starts bleeding on her poop but I started her on it again bc the formula was getting annoying , I need recommendations on how to have her poop easily by today because tomorrow I will go back to work and don’t want to have her constipated with my boyfriends mom because she won’t know what to do

You can try a suppository. That would likely be the quickest option for relief. But if you know whole milk does that to her why do it again? I realize formula can be annoying but that sounds really uncomfortable and scary if she’s having bloody stools. Maybe see if the pediatrician can offer an alternative. Usually a soy based approach or goat milk is the path

When weaned my son didn't like cow's milk so he just drank water or diluted juice. No milk at all. But he eats yogurt and cheese and doesn't get constipated unless he has too much.
Does your child like apple sauce? That helps mine stay regular. And he loves his fruit. He will occasionally drink milk but he mostly drinks water.

I honestly was thinking about not giving her milk just water bc she literally eats anything ! Besides stuff that are like texture wise but I didn’t know I could do that since she’s only 15 months

I let the doctor know and she told me to still give her whole milk bc the milk I was giving her which is the nestle nido contained too much sugar , and I was like welp we have to do it again she didn’t recommend goat milk or anything besides fruits to get her over the constipation

@Sarialyz it's fine, I weaned him at 13 months and he never seemed to miss his milk

okay will try starting tomorrow thank you so much !!
