Sicky baby

Yeah my sons been throwing up more than usual. And paired with the heat rash I think they're just struggling with the heat.

And don't worry about the formula, it's fairly straight forward and I'm sure you're doing it all correctly 💕

Yes my little one has been throwing up her milk too! We took her to the doctors on Friday as she threw up 3 feeds in a row and I was worried, the doctor told me to reduce her feeds which set alarm bells ringing in my head because why the hell would I reduce her feeds especially in a heatwave.

Anyway we got a second opinion and was told it’s most likely due to the heat as long as they are drinking half of there milk there’s no need to worry xx

Are you pace feeding (just because my sister had this issue and then started pace feeding and it helped massively) also double check teat size xx

we are using teat size 1. And he doesn't let me pace feed, I take it off him for a break and he screams the house down until he gets it back! 😅 xx

Pace feeding isn’t just stopping, it’s important to have him sat upright and bottle horizontal so the milk isn’t just flowing straight in. Sounds like a lot have had sicky babies from the heat though so could be just that x

ahh thank you! I didn't know that tbh, I do sit him upright though. I thought the teat had to be full though as not to get air bubbles sucked in. I will try this next time x

No just the nipple bit on the end, the teat half full, so they’re takin what they want as opposed to us pouring it in. I think it’s relatively new pace feeding, have a google
