Bea, Betty, Betsy, Beatrice

I love bea as a nickname with beatrice as formal! Personally, I like formal names that have cute nicknames! That way, they have a cute name when theyre little and as they grow, their name does too! I went to hs with girls who named their kids really weird names that will not grow well…

I really like Bea as a full name! My second choice would be Betty 💕

I do feel like Bea as a standalone has a completely different vibe than Beatrice with Bea as a nickname!

I don’t think the formal name matters that much. Mainly what you call them day to day. As that’s what they’ll be introduce themselves as. Only really matters for passports/legality haha

Beatrice is more formal and gives her more options to choose her own nickname as a teen or adult.
Feel it grows better for all age as can stay Bea or change it to any of the above :)
Beau is my fave though and is a lovely name :) so go with whichever you prefer! Can always give her a formal middle name :)
But I’d probably still go with formal haha x

I love Beatrice as just the full name. My daughter is Penelope and people ask me all the time if we’re going to call her penny and I’m like no🤷🏼‍♀️ I love the name by itself

I tend to prefer formal names and especially long names, but I broke character and voted for Betsy. It was nearly a tie with Beatrice.

Definitely the shorter versions for me! If you’re going to name them the nickname anyway… it doesn’t really make sense to me to give them a ‘formal name’ 🤷🏼‍♀️. People will say they may not like it when they are older but isn’t that the same whatever your name is anyway?!
Betsy is ADORABLE ☺️, and Bea and Betty are super cute too. Not a fan of Beatrice, it just sounds so grown up to me and not as sweet as the others. My preference of course! x

i like Betsy as a full name, and Bea is cute - Bea could definitely work as a full name, but i prefer it as a nickname for Beatrice, just because that gives the potential for other nicknames too, such as Birdie. 💕
