Partial previa and a toddler

Hi all! I just had my 20 week scan and first it said no previa because it was 2.5 from OS but then they added an addendum that it was partial previa. I am freaking out because I have a 13 month old toddler (weighing 22 pounds) who needs to be picked up and carried often. Anyone have experience with that? I’m googling that I shouldn’t be lifting 20 pounds or more but I can’t not hold my child and I’m so upset. Anyone told by their doctor that pelvic rest means no carrying of a child?

I had complete previa and girl honestly if I had nobody else to help me I held my toddler. If I had other people I would have them carry her or pick her up for me. But everything is okay

did carrying your toddler cause any bleeding?

not with me personally but I always checked when I went to the bathroom but I also didn’t Carry her for a long time.

My doctor said no lifting over 10 lbs. My placenta ended up moving a little but not enough to be in the safe zone. I ended up having to be in bed rest for a month but it only lasted 2 days and had an emergency c-section. If you have any questions let me know! I wish I knew someone that I could talk to about it!

I have full placenta preview and I have a 10 month old and luckily thank God I have my mom that’s like 24/7 catr with him right now because I’m not even allowed to do anything except use the restroom and shower other than that I’m on bedrest since I have been bleeding. I also have subchronic hematoma, which I had with my first pregnancy . I’m just 22 weeks today so hopefully that that placenta moves up and out of the way but yeah I’m on the same boat.
