For lives I get it, for videos or just talking in comments ahhh idk lmao

I feel like streamers use “chat” the most so I dont say that . But crash out has been around my area since I was in HS so I been saying that lol we use to call all the bad ass boys “certified crash outs” like a crash dummy

Sometimes I talk to an imaginary chat when something is so baffling I have to know if chat saw/heard it too

ohhh so it’s just recirculating gotcha but yeah I hear people say chat a lot

I’m not sure that any of these mean. What is “-chat”?

“Crash out” annoys me because it means you’ve been pushed so far that you’re acting in a way that you know will send you back to jail—keyword back—not that you’re having a mental breakdown at your service job you don’t need. 😂🙃😂

My least favorite phrase rn is “it’s not that deep”

lol
Yassss!! So I met a mom who is 10 yrs younger than me at my apt pool and her kid gets along with my kid. She had her kid at 20 (she said she literally beat teen pregnancy) bt a . lol and I intentionally became a mom at 30. So we are literally a decade apart bt our kids are the same and they get along so well & the mom is super nice bt she keeps calling me “bruh” or “bro” and I jus cringe everytime cuz it’s a part of her actual vocabulary and then when she told she watched tik toks all day I was mmmgg no wonder our “slang” is different cuz not only are we not from different generations bt she is also on that clock app. & every app has its own lingo lol so I was like 👍🏾 bt I’m tired of being called “bra” and cuz I’m not one ☝🏾 lol bt all this slang always lets me know who spends a lot of time online and who doesn’t. My Husband is not on social media so whenever I use a different “slang”
Or “woke” word he always is asking “what have been watching on social media aka the internet” lol

Heidi this a damn good poll question ! lol Also I’d really like know what gen u guys are if ur commenting. Cuz im November 1990 millenial baby, and so we are literal new aunties on the block lol 😂 and im jus beggining to feel so old talking slang lol especially when the slang I wanna use is outdated like I say shit “periodt” and that already pisses me off and I’m the one who uses it lol 😭 cuz I feel like I’m too old to be talking like this

I realized I use the word “literally” a lot bt apparently it’s because I might have limited vocabulary lmao I’m ESL
And that will forever be excuse to
Over use that word. Bt growing up
In high school words like “like” or “omg” were really popular so I always just type out omg 😱

Crash out only annoys me when people use it in the new gentrified way

Chat are we clocking that OP is standing on business?

🤣🤣🤣 right?! It feels like it’s code or idk 🤷🏾♀️ for real. I stopped reading them cause it seems like nobody can explain it either lol

if you’ve seen I guess now older YouTube videos lol, people used to say “lemme know what you think in the comments below guys” now it’s more like “Lemme know chat” as in talking to the commenters, crash out I took more as they’re “wildin” or acting crazy but just hearing younger kids saying it all over the place feeling overused/too much 😂

I met a mom who’s only 5 years younger and felt like we couldn’t connect because of it! Definitely different time spent on the internet too like you said that plays a role, it’s like a generation barrier rather than language barrier 😂 I say like, literally and omg way too much where I gotta filter myself 😭

I think im young enough to explain it for yall let me try. Lol so "chat" is like when the streamers are on a live (usually on Twitch) and people comment and talk just like how IG lives are when people can talk to the person on live so "chat" is referring to the people commenting on the stream
