I have been told I have a fibroid on the right side of my uterus but it is not in the cavity. It’s literally on the side of the wall on the outside. Has anyone gone for a transfer with the fibroid being present! My usual period pain have been super painful and I have had 1 failed ivf transfers. I will be going for the 2rd transfer but not sure if I could go ahead or should we remove the fibroid first. Anyone in the similar situation?

Hey! We were trying for 2 years. My periods were painful and my GP decided to check what’s going on. They found polyp and fibroid. I decided to remove it. The same month, after removing, I got pregnant.
Hey Thanks for replying :) that’s great news. QQ - was there any recovery time recommend after the surgery and was yours ivf or you conceived naturally?
did the period pain subside after removing the fibroids?

Yes! I can still feel it but it is a light pain- I take one pill during day one or day two and that’s all.

I was told to take it easy for a week and to expect a heavy period- which I had. We were going to have ivf but conceived naturally.
Oh wow and how big were the fibroids of you don’t mind me asking.

I don't remember, it was in 2023 but I had fibroids and polyps removed at the same time.
