Milk allergy or what?
Hey,
Would really appreciate some advice whilst awaiting our hospital appointment (which isn’t for 3 weeks). Our GP won’t try anything until they are seen..
My daughter has been have mucus and once with blood Pooh. It’s now more times than not diarrhoea with mucus. See photos in comments.
After she feeds she is moaning and groaning in pain and discomfort. Her abdomen is rock solid after she eats. She doesn’t really burp but struggles to pass wind. It’s so hard to watch.
Any advice in the meantime would be appreciated. Don’t really want to change anything till we see the Dr at the hospital. Should I pay private to see a peads team? I live in London.

They can’t do testing at an emergency room ? To see if it is an infection or anything to do with her gut health . I’m from the USA and they take them in right away in the emergency room dept at a hospital.

Can you ask for a different GP to see you at your surgery? as far as I was aware the first line of treatment comes from the GP. But I know some people go to A&E and get seen and dealt with quicker through the children’s team there x
I have seen 2 different GP’s, only the last one called the hospital team directly to check with what they wanted to do. Frustratingly she did say they would usually recommend a&e when they first have blood. But because she only had one episode and none since she said she’d call them.
