I remember them taking the tape off my back. That HURT, but the epidural itself was removed in some kind of oblivion apparently.

I do remember them taking it out but there’s really minimal details I remember about my L&D 😅

I believed my epidural was a needle and done, nothing left in huuhhhh

Yes I remember both

They took it out once they'd sewn me up after my c section 🙂 I remember them doing it but didn't feel anything

Yea after my csextion. They rolled me from the OR table to the bed and before they put me on my back in the bed they pulled it out.

same I didn’t know the leave anything in lol wtf wow

I was too distracted by my lil baby tbh

They didn't take mine out until the day I was being discharged from the hospital....

You don't feel it coming out. I remember them peeling the tape off my back.

They told me they were going to take it out and kind of rolled me onto my side to take it out after I had been stitched up.

I remember them taking it out and putting a little bandaid on it

It depends on what kind of epidural a mom is given. The spinal is a shot. The other epidural is the one that stays. Most moms gets both, the shot for immediate relief then the needle that stays in.
I definitely remember with all the tape they had on my back. But it’s normal to not remember with all of the hormonal changes that happens right after birth

i feel like i vaguely remember because i remember then peeling all the tape off 😖 BUT i do not remember them taking the catheter out

I remember both times cause they kept telling me 'the tape coming off is going to be so uncomfortable' and i remember thinking this was so dumb compared to what i just went through and the fact that the epidural numbed my entire body completely for 7 hours postlartum. A lil tape...really....reeeallllyyyyy🤣🤣🤣
