If I'm medically signed off of work for a long period of time will UC stop paying towards my childcare costs?

No, as long as you send proof of the medically signed off you should be absolutely fine, but as long as the company medically signed you off themselfs if you did it yourself they will cut your UC off xx
it's my psychiatrist / perinatal MH team that wants to sign me off as they don't think I'm ready to go back to work..so would that count as me doing it myself?
Thank you for your answer xx

I’m not entirely sure then, as I know from past workers when they’ve been on the sick to long we’ve let them go on medical and they’ve been able to still have UC but if they’ve resigned with medical then UC have stopped there money due to them resigning and not work doing it themselfs x
that makes sense I just don't want my son to miss out on nursery so bit stressed out. thanks so much for your help xx

Even if your not on UC your son will still be eligible for 15 hours if you or your partner work there eligible for 30 hours a week as when I wasn’t on UC my son still did his 15 hours when I was working he was able to get 30 hours but when I came onto UC he is still only eligible for 15 hours xx
