Rear facing is safest

I have the Evenflo revolve 360, my son too hates the car seat he’s almost 2 and he still hates it but we have movies on a tablet playing for him. We’ve done long roadtrips he watched movies and fell asleep the nice part of that car seat is that it can lean back so if he does fall asleep he is semi laying rather than sitting up and risking his head going forward.

My baby is 9 months and also hates the car seat. I’m here for the tips too as we will be traveling soon also!
right!
yes I just figured it out how to place the car seat the right way

All children under the age of 2 needs by federal law to be facing rear facing

I just bought a convertible carseat that's supposed to arrive Tuesday because my son is also about to outgrow his infant carseat. I decided on the Chicco Fit360. Good reviews. Middle range price wise. It rotates which I wanted to make it easier on my back. From my research, they are supposed to be rear facing until 40lb, but not sure if that is a local law or not.

I never understood why car seats needed to be rear facing, it’s because if you were to crash their neck isn’t strong enough to withstand that force and could break. Need to be rear facing until 2 years!

Rear facing til at least two! I have the graco extend 2 fit so hopefully I can keep my little rear facing as long as possible. But I love the car seat! I have it for my toddler and plan to get it for my 8 month old soon.

Do your research on your child’s neck vertebrae and what happens in the event of an accident before you choose to forward face early.
We have the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 and we bought it because it’s the shortest front to back. The Nuna Rava is similar in dimensions but pricier and that just wasn’t in the budget for 4 car seats. Maybe I’d like the turn to me feature but I don’t have any issues folding my kiddos up and putting them in the car seat.
My littlest guy really likes his mirror and lets him see all around. This has made him more bearable for car rides. Also, it’s recommended to stop every 2 hours and get up and walk around and let LO out too for circulation.
