Something in the slow cooker. A joint of meat, stew etc. the you can just make some quick cous cous, potatoes etc

This pasta is super easy to make! I actually use minced beef instead of sausages, it's much quicker. Puy lentils works too, in case it needs to be meat free.
Starter: garlic bread, olives etc
Side: salad, of course, with flaked almonds on top. Balsamic vinegar, as you'll have that on hand already! Some good quality EVOO.
Dessert: Cantuccini/amaretti and coffee/tea or sorbet
