This verse refers to the prophet's recitation of the Quran to the people. It highlights a spiritual barrier, not a physical one, directed at those who deny the Afterlife—a core belief in Islam that many people at the time rejected. As a result, they were unable to fully grasp the truth of the Quran’s message. The term "hijab" means "veil," while "masturs" means "hidden" or "canceled." Once again, this is not referencing a physical wall or cloth; rather, it indicates a spiritual or psychological barrier that prevents disbelievers from truly understanding or being impacted by the Quran.

With God’s name the merciful benefactor the merciful redeemer*
I forgot to add this to the beginning of the verse. We are suppose to always say Bismillah Rahman Rahim before reciting any part of the Quran meaning In the name of God most gracious, most merciful
