Moving to Canberra

We’re moving to Canberra in December. I would love to know some family friendly suburbs
that are close to activities and things to do. Would also love to connect with some Mums before we move. My baby girl is 4months old.

Not sure of good suburbs, I lived in Palmerston and absolutely loved it and I now live in Chisholm and don’t mind it either. It’s close to Tuggeranong centre which is good. Not much else to do but there are a few good parks around Southside and some cool places out near cotter.

Think most suburbs have their hit and misses. So really just depends on your family
Genuinely most suburbs have great pockets and some have both great and weird pockets. The schools are also mostly really good.
We’re very active and love the outdoors. We need to be close-ish to Barton and the airport
Honestly depending on where you’re moving from - everything feels close to everything.
