Hey 👋 Community team here! We’re kicking off a little behind-the-scenes peek at how we help keep Peanut safe. First up: selfie verification.
Every single person on Peanut has a selfie-verified profile. When you send in your selfie, our custom system checks it first. If anything looks off, it goes straight to a real person on our moderation team. Yep, real moms and Peanut users just like you.
It’s one of the ways we make sure everyone on Peanut is exactly who they say they are 💛 You deserve to feel safe and seen here. Always 🥜

How do you verify people when there are incognito?
Nice to know. Have read discussions on groups where mums felt they were communicating with a man and not a mum. Glad to know there is a check in place.
So ur proof is that someone wearing makeup and looking like woman, is woman? Like doing that is difficult ;/
Please have a proper security steps, ask for ID or something..
I installed my app 4 years ago, so I don't remember what did upload and how i proved that i am a woman

Hi everyone! 👋 The selfie check is just one of a number of tools we use to verify your account, we’re always working on more ways to keep Peanut safe.
And yes, 👻 incognito posts are all made by members with verified accounts, they are just choosing to remain anonymous when they make that post.
If you come across a profile that you believe violates our guidelines, please report in-app and our team will review it ASAP
