How long does egg stick around?

If I ovulated Thursday, got my peak around 10pm … and I had sex Sunday… my app tells me it’s my last fertile day but don’t the egg last for only 24/48 hours so it’s unlikely I coulda got pregnant?

The LH peak usually happens 7-24 hours before you ovulate. Once the egg is released it’s only viable for 24 hours before it passes too far down the fallopian tube to be fertilized. If you got your peak reading Thursday, ideally you would have baby danced that day and Friday. Saturday and Sunday would most likely be too late.

I though so, husband was away for work unexpectedly, I jumped on him soo as he was home but though it might be to late x
