yeah it is :( i’ve heard great things about once upon a farm! Honestly I feel like the cheapest way is to make your own in bulk and freeze

I make purées at home for my son. He is 8 months old. You can freeze it, or just make small amounts to refrigerate for the week. My family got me a cool machine that doubles as a food processor and steamer. But if you don’t have that you could steam in a pot and then blend it. I find making my own baby food is cheaper and I can be particular about the ingredients I use. And it’s kind of fun! Here’s the link to the puree thingy. I will say, it is expensive but it is so easy to use and so worth it. I use it everyday

good luck! There are some good recipe books on amazon for baby weaning and blw

I get beech nut organics. My baby is obsessed. And it’s stored in glass jars not plastic.

Make them yourself and freeze them into ice cube trays, pop a few out when needed

Avatar

I just steam veggies, whatever I’m having for dinner and use a stick blender. Costs mere cents for many many servings and you can freeze them in ice cube trays for easy meals later!

Avatar

second this we do the oatmeal and she loves it we mix in fruity purée to do flavor change ups

Avatar

i’ve done the same thing!

serenity kids!!

I make my own purses at home but we also do not puree foods as long as soft enough to mush then he can practice chewing. But everything he gets is made at home. If we're on the go and I dont have time then I do have back up snacks for him, happy baby brand from target, once upon a farm also at target. Aldi brand is also good. And plum organics at Walmart.
