Maternity leave

Girl same !!! Currently 31 weeks and I’m an RN. I try to work till my 37 weeks if possible because I really need 3 months for my maternity leave. If I go on early maternity leave it will cut down my bounding time with the baby 🥹🥹🥹🥹

I’m losing motivation in work!! But ima try to stay as long as I can so I don’t take time away from baby when she arrives. With my first I started a week before my due date and she came the next day😭😂

Is hard but we got this !!! I got a maternity belt it helps a lot if you have to stand for long

Almost 29 weeks here and also have no idea lol. I’m a nanny and don’t know if I want to work till my water breaks or have some more time at the end for prepping and spending time with my daughter while she’s still an only child🤍 with my work I’m not easily replaceable, so it would probably be better for the family to at least have a date for hiring a temp, like 38wks or so🤷🏻‍♀️

I think around 37 weeks I’ll be dropping down to part time so I’m working only the weekends when I come back but that way I have more time to get things ready and when she’s here and I go back to work I can take care of her during the week and her dad is primary for the weekends

RN here. I only get a total of 12 weeks of FMLA. I’ll be 35 weeks this Thursday and I’m planning on working all the way until I pop
