First time mum here so not a clue.. when does your little one go in the carrier front facing? My girl is so nosey and I know she’ll love facing outwards.

If you already own the carrier, have a look at the guide or online for that particular brand. It usually goes by weight, but it’ll be at least 3 months.

I'm pretty sure baby needs to be able to sit unaided before your front face them in a baby carrier. They need good trunk and neck strength to support themselves, so approx 6 months but like the person above said the instructions for your carrier should say.
Always make sure to observe the correct posture for their legs to protect their hips and spine. For facing you it's an M shap with legs but facing outwards I'm unsure so worth a google

Guidance is 6 months, a lot of people do it slightly earlier but baby needs really good head control/eg able to sit

I wouldn't even consider it until at least 4 months but even that is probably a bit early. Their necks aren't strong enough to hold their heads safely enough, especially for extended periods.
Thanks guys! Glad I asked 🥰
