Great areas to live
Hey everyone, we are starting the process to move to Dubai from Canada with our two little ones. Oldest is 15months and youngest is 3 months. My spouse will be heading over there first to hopefully set most things up before we come over. He will be looking at properties which areas are best for a family. Note hubby will be on a working rotation in and out of the country so I will be alone with the babies 20 days at a time.

Hey, dépends on your budget, where your husband works… but there are lots of nice communities family friendly in Dubai
Palm jumeirah is a dream but super expensive sadly
We rent at the Springs for now and it’s super lovely with kids : pool and park with play area in a walk distance (some a bit more far though be mindful when you visit)
Garden !! A must for Dubai heat with young kids as they can play with water :) I have kids almost the same age as yours and my 1st even with 40degres could play outside playing with the garden hose !
And in closest malls, Springs Souk and Meadows Village (less than 10min in car from every Spring) there are children soft plays and activités and classes (Gymboree, Trampo (has a soft play for toddler), Playtorium (big play area for toddler, very easy with a young baby around as well), Babysensory…
I don’t know much about other areas though, but there are lots of safe communities like this very family friendly !

I’ve heard of jvc and jvt also. We will likely be renting first as well
Also are there any good Nannie’s/babysitting companies? You could recommend
no it’s different, Palm is an area, Springs an other area
