Toddler sick?
BEFORE YOU READ. FURTHER IVE BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE PEDIATRICIAN
My toddler has started saying he’s tired all the time. Like he will sleep super well, have a great nap and then say “I’m really tired”. He’s got dark circles under his eyes, my husband thinks slightly pale, and these red dots appeared on his face. They aren’t itchy, they don’t irritate him they just appeared all over his face and around his neck.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there anything I should request to check?

Does he have a fever? Anytime my daughter ended up with red dots on her face/neck it turned out to be a viral infection. When this happens she has a fever along with fatigue & poor appetite.
we just took his temperature which was 36.5-37 so I believe normal? Appetite is overall id say alright
Could it be hand foot and mouth?

I'd get a blood test done too. Check his vitamin levels
Okay then most likely not viral. It could be a heat rash. Sometimes small red bumps can appear like that after sweating in sleep. But I agree with other mom definitely get his blood checked to see why he’s feeling so fatigued.
Could be lack of iron, does your multi-vitamin contain iron cos not all of them do (I only realised that two weeks ago after our doc said mine was very pale and to make sure he’s getting some)
