WFH question

Hi mums 💕 just curious if anyone is working from home with bubs and how that is going for you. My mat leave ends in November and my return to work arrangements are still up in the air so would love to glimpse the other side!

I work remotely from home, whilst currently primary carer for my daughter as my partner works ft. Currently I just do 1 day a week (1.5hr per day m-f) and I work flexibly around my daughters nap times. It’s tricky but if my daughter naps ok I have the flexibility to make it work. As my hours increase I think it’s gonna be harder to make it work without having some kind of child care solution. But I’ll cross that bridge as i come to it. I’ve had no choice but to try and make it work. Some days are better than others. But I won’t sugar coat it, it’s challenging.

Thank you both! I was considering going back to work PT with 4 hours a day 5 days a week with a 6 month old but I might be kidding myself 🫣
