Milton cold water sterilising

I always rinse my bottles just as an extra precaution x

Yeah I just never have because it specifically said on the back of the box that you don’t have to rinse and I presumed that rinsing them would then unsterilise them. Crazy how guidance changes

I rinse the bottles before I put them in the steriliser never after, sorry I miss read your post x

I’ve never rinsed after as it would defeat the purpose of sterilising to me 😂 I did see a video that said they have to now say they would recommend rinsing due to regulations however, it’s exactly the same product. They actually came out and said nothing has changed x

I thought rinsing them after would make them not sterile because of bacteria in tapwater 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I never rinse after. I wash with soapy water, rinse, sterilise then use them x

Yeah that’s exactly what I would’ve thought! And it’s not like their ingredients have changed, it’s just regulations. I can’t keep up 🫠

When I first started using Milton it said no need to rinse, I think they recently changed it

Personally I’m ignoring the new rules. Even Milton’s announcement is pretty clear it’s just an annoying thing they have had to add in as regulations have changed. Nothing wrong with the way it’s always been lol. I’m not rinsing.
