Anyone else not enjoying being a parent at all at the 27 m mark? This shit is not for the flint harded! Tantrums, kid who thinks they know best, attitude worse then a 14 year old. Not eating, not going to bed great... and dont even get me started on the hitting etc!

I’ve got a 27 month old as well and it is brutal!!! Anyone that says it’s easy is definitely lying. Doesn’t help matters that I’ve got a 11 week old to add to the madness but it is tough. You aren’t alone!

I agree this stage is brutal. I had PND in the early days so I’d still say that this is better than the newborn days but my goodness, he’s not eating, everything is “no” bedtimes are a struggle, nappy changes are a struggle, doing ANYTHING is a struggle. My little one properly head butted me right on the nose yesterday, it hurt so much I cried, he then went on to try it again and hit me when I said not to and be gentle. HOWEVER, some moments are the best ever “I love you mummy, so much!” And the hugs, the songs and the kisses, the pretend play, the giggles that we have, the jokes that we tell are all so lovely.

I agree with the newborn days were rough for me as well thanks to PND but they still had ups and downs like nowadays and the cute moments do makeup for the screaming tantrums over nothing or no to absolutely everything 🙃🫠

Omg I also had PND and I was in a right state but this doesn't seem to be letting up! It sounds horrible but I feel like it's more bad then good. There is lovely moments, but then within a split second ahes doing something totally stupid and just fighting back all the time! It's so hard and exhausting. I dont know how to embrace these moments 😔

I also have a 28 month old who is at this stage, honestly It is a lot, some days are more challenging than others. She also chat backs, says no to everything, smacks, kicks, smirks when she gets told off. I think where am I going wrong! I try everything to discipline her, time out, naughty step, no treats, nothing seems to phase her. I’m also a single mum and have a 13 month old and a 6 year old who are golden. But it can be tough so stay strong xx

Same. Empathy and patience is a must, and ‘this too shall pass’ in mind all the time 💛

Yes, this phase is hard. I also have a 2 week old at home to add to the fun 🫠

I’m glad to see I’m not alone - as my LG has really changed in the last 6 weeks or so does anyone know how long it lasts 😂 massive meltdowns to the point I don’t know what to do, constant arguing back and forth, bossing us about, hitting etc
