Potty training
How’s it going mommas, so we have started our potty training journey and so far it has been good mostly during the day, haven’t even thought or starting potty at night but I was hoping for any and all advice, also he seems really into it some days, and others not so much I have to bribe him to go sit in the potty but I think that’s just cause he rather be doing other things. Also sometimes I feel he doesn’t fully let his pee out when he sits down I feel like he just goes a little and then stops saying he is done. Any way help!

My daughter goes #1 on the potty but it’s hit or miss for #2 because she gets nervous. At night I was told to just put her in a night time diaper for another year or two until they wake up with dry diapers because it’s hard for them to hold it in for that long.
We do diapers at night and underwear during the day, and so far he does good during the day just he needs to be reminded to go, but sometimes he fights going because he rather play or watch tv idk I don’t like fighting him.
My babe has been peeing on the potty for Months, but no poops yet. Well just once, but it was two Tiny pebbles . 😂 when we started I read lots of potty books , got him the Elmo who has his own little potty,bottle and talks about going potty when you push Elmo’s hand. I showed him a lot of toddler potty training videos, too when we introduced it. That was all very helpful . And Ain’t nothing wrong with bribing by the way! 😆Mine got a single jelly bean each time he went potty and he was hype ! We don’t do the jelly beans
Anymore, but that definitely helped him as well . And he also only dribbles a bit and says I’m done but then I say oh wait, you have more! Look! I see it and then he looks down and starts starring at his penis and sure enough he goes more every time. Hope some of that helps
Oh yeah, I do pull ups during the day and diapers ay night . I have a few friends who did the naked method where they literally didn’t put any bottoms on their toddlers for 3-4 days and they learned very very quick . But I’m not cleaning up piss all day long so we going slow and steady the old fashioned way
We did the "Oh crap potty training" method back in May. We let her run around with no bottoms for 3 days and she only had 1 accident on the floor and has been peeing and pooping on the potty ever since. You put underwear on them after a week, and she did have a couple of accidents in her underwear, but it's been pretty smooth sailing. She still wears pull ups at night for now. We have not even started night training. I'm kind of dreading it. Once she has a "big girl bed " I feel like she'll be up and down all night. Has anyone night trained successfully? Advice is welcome!
My girl is 20 months and I got her to poop in the potty just the other day for the first time I’ve tried to get her to sit on the potty more but she wasn’t having it lol I’m trying to get her more comfortable with it … proud mama 🥹
