Do you kiss your baby/kid on the mouth?

Not like on purpose?? I usually will kiss her cheeks and moves her head towards me to like eat my face. She’s 7mo though lmao

I wouldn’t not do it on purpose… if that makes sense… but I’m also not trying to kiss her on the mouth purposely all the time.. like your toddler giving you kisses? Yeah I see no problem with on the lips. Once they get older they’ll stop doing it on their own and just do a cheek/forehead kiss. But if my baby is trying to give me kisses to show me love I’m not saying no because she’s aiming for the lips!

I have always kissed my daughter on the lips and she’s almost 5 and would absolutely be offended if she went In for a kiss and I only kissed her cheek 😂

My baby is 6 months and I always do cheek, head, forehead etc. just because I don’t want to risk giving her any germs directly on her mouth lol, even though she’s breastfed and she came out of me I’m still paranoid about her catching something even from me

Mouth kisses feel more romantic to me so we only do forehead or cheek kisses

I know that’s a culture thing, but honestly I can’t help to find kissing on the lips on purpose a child very weird 😅
However only the mom if she’s breastfeeding should do I read if I remember well as there can caught bad infections if they are very young

I usually give my lo a kiss on the cheek but she kisses me on the mouth all the time and sometimes tries to eat my face lol my moms never kissed me on the mouth however my grandparents do kiss me on the mouth sometimes to each there own

Of course, she loves to run and hug me and give me “tisses”. I don’t sexualize a peck on the lips, it’s just a way to show affection. As kids get older they naturally stop if it makes them uncomfortable (kids not in abusive situations obviously). My mom kissed all of us kids on the mouth and I don’t remember how old I was exactly but maybe like 6-7 when I started wiping them off and dodging them lol.

Honestly it depends if you are sexually active or get sick often I wouldn’t me personally I do not like slobber so I do not often but SOMETIMES I do
