Owlet sock
Hi everyone,
I’m about to have a breakdown over setting up the owlet sock
I can’t do it!! I can’t connect it to the WiFi does anyone know how I do it? I think I need the 2.4 WiFi but I have 5g? I literally don’t understand😩😩😩

We had to split our WiFi so it was 2.4ghz, you can normally do this on your broadband account or speak to someone via the broadband customer services who will do it for you. I also had to ask the WiFi company to put the 2.4ghz on a channel less than 10 or it wouldn’t show up as a WiFi option when trying to connect. You should then be able to connect. If you still cant sign in via the WiFi settings on your phone, you can instead press the owlet WiFi, go off the page, go onto the internet and type in 198.168.0.1 and sign in to the WiFi that way. You can also do it on a computer I think. I had a nightmare doing it but if I follow the above I can connect it anywhere. Hope this helps!
We had to log into our router app and temporarily change it back to 2.4, to set it up. Once it's set up you can change it back to 5g
I can’t even connect the thing to my phone! You know when you have to press the button, did it take you ages ? Xx
Yes, it took ages to go into pairing mode! X
