Breastmilk to formula
I exclusively pump and hoping to finish exoressing when my little girl is 6 months which is in a few weeks time. I am trying to put her on formula (cow and gate) by starting with dropping a breastmilk bottle for a formula one but it doesn't seem to be working and she is not really taking to it. I haven't combi fed before (she is my second child as my first child breastfed directly and then went straight to formula). Can I mix breastmilk and formula together and do i just add small amounts of formula to start with to my expressed milk and then slowly reduce the breastmilk in the bottle? Do you use the ready-made formula milk rather than the powder and can you then put then use the powder once she is fully transitioned? Thanks

Yes you can mix them together. I have been mixing it with pre made formula. But you could also make up a small bottle of powered formula and top up with breast milk. My little one isnt the biggest fan of formula either! But she will take it mixed with some breast milk and mostly from other people
