Never put it on for mine, but the trailer for it came on on Netflix and they were both so happy and smiling.
Is it the happy energy and over exaggerated smiles? Cause I can not do that all day

Doesn't she have a masters degree in early childhood education?

I let mine watch it when I’m cleaning or something like that. I refuse to sit down and watch it with her 😅

It’s about what makes our kids happy, not us. Ms. Rachel has taught both my kids a lot. If it weren’t for her, I never would have thought to teach toddlers ASL. 🤷♀️

My little boy loved Ms Rachel when he was a baby. She taught him a lot, but her voice grated on me so much. So I was so happy when he stopped being interested in her at the age of 2. FYI, there's a less annoying version of her called Ms. Moni. She is Australian, so her voice isn't as annoying.

I think it’s the facial expressions and high voice but I’m not entirely sure. She always seems like she’s delighted with life so I assume that’s why kids are keen??

I honestly try to avoid it lol so my son has never seen her.

I put it on for my son once and he was like no mom

I always figured it was the way she made eye contact and smiled at the viewer. She was the only show that would keep my baby's attention for a while before he turned 18 months.
I would like to say that I have nothing against ms Rachel, I just prefer to put older kids films that I like over tv series 😅

The other day I saw ms Rachel herself make an instagram post about how she ended up having to play her own YouTube videos for her own baby on an airplane ride because her doing it in person wasn’t hitting right.
Idk what kinda magic she’s doing & I dunno if she entirely knows either

It's the slow tones she uses, I'm a preschool teacher & I'm a mix of Ms Frizzel & Ms Rachel. When she became popular all my parents were telling my director "Lauren is your Ms Rachel" & I still get those comments from parents today lol "You're like my kids real live version of Ms Rachel" lmao but I also have a backbone & no offense I teach in person.. not through a screen

She started the channel for her own child who was having trouble speaking. She’s a big help.

I’ve never put her on. I genuinely hate little kid stuff like really really little kid stuff. Even little kid music, when we listen to music we listen to our music. That’s usually on in the background during the day with a black screen while I play with my kiddos/do chores.
My kid absolutely goes feral for Chiquita by ABBA. Her favorite song ever 😂

My son’s face lights up much more for her than me. Not jealous.
😂

We watched it when he was younger but he has definitely gone off her now. She is a bit too much
