This has been one of my toddlers favorites meals since about 8 months old, he’s now 20 months. We do it in the crockpot - beef stew, potatoes, onion & carrots. I usually add beef bone broth and then some seasonings. Let’s it cook on low for 8 hours. I shred the beef up, serve the carrots whole is their small enough because they will mash in your finger, and then I cut the potatoes to bit size pieces (for 8 months I would cut in longer strips for her).

I cook a roast beef in the slow cooker (im vegetarian so its almost the safest option). As the beef is cooked on onions and carrots i just add in the extra veg and gravy and put it on in the slow cooker. I cut the pieces up into finger food size but not too thick. The beef pretty much falls apart when its cooked so sucking on the beef without teeth means it breaks up nicely into digestible pieces. My little girl was around 8 months when I first did this for her

Came here to say what Melanie said. Cooking the stew in the crockpot low and slow ensures everything is tender enough for your baby to eat. Avoid using pre-made seasoning packets, the sodium is outrageous.

I cook mine exactly how I normally would, with chunky onions, potatoes, leek etc but just do long carrots if they’re skiny. I do beef oxo water, and make it how I would make a gravy in the slow cooker. I cut everything into bit size pieces and depending on the beef I cut bigger (like strips almost), or I break it up when I feed it to my girl. I give her it with strips of bread and butter. Goes down a treat every time. My girl is 8 and a half months x

I did a slow cooked beef coconut curry the other day and she absolutely loved it!! I did it in the pan on the cooker as I don't own a pressure cooker and it was super soft!

We use beef mince instead of beef chunks !!❤️
Thank you everyone! I dont have a slow cooker any idea how long id cook it on the hob or in oven for? X
