Cold at 4 months

My babygirl had her jabs then two days later got a cold 🥲 (been a tuff week) she’s so congested and I’ve tired the calpol plug in, frida nose sucker with saline spray, vapour rub you name it. Has anyone got any other suggestions to help this pass? She’s playing and still happy, but drinking less (probs due to a snotty nose) don’t know if milk making it worse. Hate seeing her like this.. any other tips would be great!!
FTM here x

We’re going through the same started with a snuffly nose tuesday night and doesn’t seem to be getting any better yet! The only thing we’re doing extra to what you mentioned is giving her some of my frozen colostrum and nurofen cold and pain medicine (but only when her temp is high!)

Oh we had this last week it’s awful! I did all the above but got some vapour bubble bath, id also run the shower as hot as possible before her bath so the bathroom was steamy which helped. I put vapour rub on myself as she was glued to me, also vapour rub sandwiched between cotton pads and put under her sheets. Hope she’s on the mend soon xx

I tilted my next to me crib to an angle (1 number)to help my little one breathing better at night.

We had bronchitis and then jabs and then croup and then jabs and I will see what’s next 🤣
Used saline spray and nasal suction, calpol, vapo rub and loads of cuddles and sleeps.

We're one week deep into this too. Slowly getting better but its painfully slow. No tips just sending some sanity 😅

We use a humidifier in the room at night which helps too

I’ve had two weeks of my boy having a cold following jabs and high fever. I’ve tried all of the same, plus vapour bubble bath and letting the bathroom get steamy when I shower. Sleeping and feeding was a nightmare at first but it’s been a case of (and still is) waiting it out and knowing he’s (extremely) slowly getting better. So hard for them, wishing yours a quick recovery!
