Still struggling with nursery illness ?!?!

I am so f****** done honestly!! been going to nursery since January , went back beginning of September and started a new nursery and straight away got a cold/chesty cough just got over that and now come down with a really high fever, literal reached 39.7 in the night, been to the drs today and told it’s viral. When does it end ? his already under the paediatirican for his chest ( recurrent infections ) no one else’s child in the nursery seems to be unwell just mine when I asked them they said they haven’t had many off, either my child has a really weak immune system or people are just sending children in doses up and unwell so nursery staff wouldn’t actually know, either way I’m worried and sick of it. Just needed to vent , but if anyone else is in a similar position please let me know I just want to know we are not alone

I think it may depend when the other children started nursery. My little one was sick so often in the first 5-8 months of starting, it got me down so much and it was tough taking so much time off work. He started nursery when he was 13months old though and now he's 28 months and only gets the odd cold. I can't even remember the last time he had a temperature or needed a day off nursery from sickness. Just remember every time he gets ill his immune system is strengthening, hopefully it won't be long and you will start to see an improvement.

We're in the same boat but with my 9 month old poor bugger hasn't caught a break she's been given a inhaler because her chest is so bad and she has a constant cough, I've put her in a vapour bubble bath, calpol plug in spray, Vicks on her chest and feet, done the nose sucker and put Vicks vapour drops in water in her room, I've heard cutting a onion up and putting it at there bed is also good x

same for me trying to juggle work with an unwell toddler it’s so hard my partner works an hour away and drives a lorry so could be halfway across the country it’s not like he can pop back to take him to the drs or anything , I only work 10 mins from my house but it’s just relentless atm , we have had a really good run since July and then back at nursery and bang unwell straight away!! I really hope so as I’m seriously so tempted to just pull him out because of it x
