I exclusively pump. Im not an over producer, I pump what my child eats every 2 hours ( Its exhausting ) sometimes i don’t get enough breastmilk for his feeds so I add formula. I was told today that breastmilk loses its nutrients when its mix with formula in the same bottle. Is this true? Should i have then 2 separate bottles?

That is not true at all 🥰

If you put boiled water in the breast milk then it would affect the BM… but let the formula cool first and you’ll have no issues at all! If you’re worried (you shouldn’t be because the breast milk won’t be affected at all) then you could let baby finish breast milk and then put the formula in the bottle after it’s finished!🥰

If you add boiling hot water then yes that can cause that to happen so let it cool first. If I give formula I just use room temp which doesn’t effect the breast milk at all
