Milk when 1?

Do you HAVE to transition to cows milk when they turn one?

Something about it makes me so anxious as he's still on 4 bottles as well as 3 meals...

You could do it gradually, like mix formula and cows milk then gradually reduce the formula in it. Don't think it has to be immediately. I think it's more stopping using bottles which is the important thing. But I found just swapping some feeds for snacks meant my first dropped feeds easily at 1 anyway.

Maybe start to think of dropping a bottle now. X

I mean you don’t have to transition as soon as they turn 1 but by then food should be the main source x

No you absolutely don’t. The reason it is recommended as part of the diet is that it’s an easy way to get calcium and protein into little ones. If you make sure they are getting this from other sources, no need to have it at all 😊 as long as you aren’t dairy free, you probably give enough dairy via cheese, yoghurt etc anyway.
