Bronchiolitis
7 months old Baby has stopped taking bottle and breast after been sick. She’s been in hospital for
7 days now. She’s not even latching after being hungry for 7 hours even so they end up feeding her through the tube. I have no does what’s going on

Oh bless you that sounds so hard! Are you pumping to keep your supply up? Babies and children often go on hunger strikes when poorly. At least you're in the best place for her x

I had this with my 7 month old last week! He had to have some oxygen and a feeding tube, 24 hours later hes pretty much back to his normal self. Hospital said its very common for babies to catch it!
It's awful. Our baby was admitted yesterday with the same. He's so hungry but I'm not allowed to feed him as the milk is taking up room for his lungs to expand and putting too much pressure on his breathing it's awful he just cries non stop and there's nothing I can do, can't even hold him as he gets too upset that I'm not feeding him.
