When do we start coining DPO? From 2 days after peak ovulation or from the day of peak?

You ovulate 12-24 hours ish following peak. So it's best to assume the day after peak is ovulation so you would start counting DPO the after that. So 2 days after peak would be 1dpo if that makes sense xx
The premom app counts it as two days after peak on the chart so I have just been going with that
