Postpartum rash/hives
Did anyone else experience an itchy rash/hives for weeks after they delivered???
For context i had a C-section 2 weeks ago and then a few days after i started getting these itchy bumps all over me and they have yet to go away. I told my OB about them and they said there’s nothing to do for them and it would take a long time to figure out what caused them so ultimately i just have to wait it out.
Is this common???? Did anyone else get these and if so how long did they last? What helped?

I got a bad rash all over my legs 2 days after my csection. I went into the ER and they said it could be an allergic reaction to something but they weren't sure either. They told me to take benadryl and to go back if it got worse but within a week it was gone.
Yeah its a hormonal change from what I understand. I still get it and im a year pp. I use cerave anti itch cream
i got this & my dr said an allergic reaction to the surgery prep they used. I got a rash cream, let me go find the name and i’ll come back to let you know what it was. It was ROUGH for me as I couldn’t stop itching but didn’t want scarring. It took about 1.5 weeks for it to go away for me.
