Hi! My twins had their first cold at 6 months, not much that can be done but I had the warm humidifier on all day for them, and I’d mix the baby Vicks vapor rub with the regular one and put it on their chest, back and feet. Hope your LO gets better.

Not advice but in the same boat, my little girl is poorly for past 2 days, high fever, snotty nose and sneezing/cough. Hearing her cry is heartbreaking!! Feeling very guilty as I know I’ve given her my cold. Have been seen by out of hours drs as I was worried about the fever but they had no concerns and told me to just keep giving calpol x

isn’t it just! I’m already feeling very sorry for myself because I’m ill.. but now knowing that I’ve given it to her, and having to look after her all day when her dad’s at work is tough! I’ve ordered some baby Vicks that I’m hoping will help with her chest and get a few good naps in today! I’ll have a look at plug-ins now thank you🩷

My almost 4 month old is just recovering from her first cold, it lasted a week and was horrible 😩 she’s got a mucus cough now which apparently happens at the end. We used the Vicks plug-in, saline spray followed by feeds and suction when her nose was really blocked. Lots and lots of contact naps. Sleep when you can as nights were painful for us! Sending you wishes for a quick recovery ❤️🩹

Lol, that sounds so grim 🤣 but definitely will get one for him. We ended up getting a calpol plug in and wow what a difference already with his snotty nose. Humidifier is a good shout!

My little girl always picks up something! You can use snuffle babe (the baby vapour rub) and the bubble bath. They also do a nose spray which works magic! I’ve also heard the calpol plug in helps a lot but never tried it. Hope your little one feels better soon🥰xx
